Actually venturing out into the sun today.
To the aforementioned wedding. I should be back by dinnertime in the East, so I can continue editing video, posting a bit here, and recording this week's TBTM Radio tonight.
Stay out of the liquor cabinet and no long distance calls, you kids. And stop slouching. I'll be back later.

there is a guy from chad who has even more money, and is even more desperate for help getting it out of the country... all he needs is your social security number, your check routing number, and your atm pin. i dont see how anything could go wrong...
has anyone ever fallen for one of those emails? if so, i would like to know who they are so i can point and laugh at them in an unfriendly manner... people that stupid dont deserve money.

Don't scoff, Justin...wasn't it just yesterday that a whole mess o'people fell for the "CNN Says They Just Caught Bin Laden--Click Here" spam?
Put out the right bait and a certain percentage will fall for it. (Oh geez, I just called us all fish.)

Justin & Xan, there has got to be a "confessions" type blog somewhere out there for people who have given buckets of moola to Nigerian princes in hopes of receiving...well, buckets of moola.
Thankfully, I've never gone to that naive an extreme wiring out my bank info, but I recall getting a nifty onion skin Nigerian aerogram back in the 80s with a typewritten version of the scheme on the back of it.

i got an email yesterday that said the bank needed to make sure my ATM card was functioning properly. all they needed was my card number, and my PIN. i suppose they wouldnt try something that stupid if it didnt work occasionally. it costs next to nothing to send out an email, if you send out 10,000, and you manage to clean out 1 or 2 bank accounts, you still make quite a profit. damn, if i wasnt so scared of prison i could make a killing. i used to be a telemarketer, if i can convince an old lady in a nursing home to give me $40 for a fake police charity, i suppose i could do come up with a good internet scam... and yes, i did feel dirty doing it, but hell, it was my job, and it was the only job in the 3 surrounding counties that payed over $8 an hour, before everyone starts judging me)
