Dueling headlines
When I came downstairs to put together this morning's newscast (the next to last for us - we're out of the news business effective tomorrow), the lead stories on Yahoo News were, shall we say, contradictory.
AP was running 'Marines to end siege of Falluja,' while Reuters was running something along the lines of 'Marines move more armor into Falluja' (the story has since been moved).
Of course, the ten new dead soldiers have bumped both stories from the top. Bad day today.
Clarification: My reference to us 'being out of the news business effective tomorrow' has to do with the daily newscast that Take Back The Media has been producing for the past 7 months, first for IEAmerica Radio and then for the Thom Hartmann Program. We will be discontinuing the newscast to devote more time to the TBTM site and TBTM Radio.
Don't worry, we're not going anywhere.
