I forgot to mention - this graf is kinda funny when you isolate it. Emphasis mine:

A record? By McCain's anemic fund-raising standard, maybe.

The news out of the Obama camp tells the tale of how lame McCain's fundraising really is - Obama raised $51 million in July, with 65,000 new donors helping to bring Obama's donation list to over 2 million members.

McCain's campaign, all spin to the contrary, simply cannot keep up.
