We're back where we were last week, aren't we?

PoliticsThink about it.

Obama and Biden are still running the same steady race as when they came out of the Democratic convention.

McCain still hasn't met a crowd he can't bore half to death.

Yukon Barbie is, as of now, on a plane back to Alaska ('whisked away' was the term being used). Reports that her water broke again are unfounded. And yes, the legal problems and complete lack of experience necessary to be Vice President are still hanging around her (and McCain's) neck.

The media, with a few exceptions, still has their collective head up its own collective ass.

The Big, Scary Republicans have come and gone, after filling American homes with unbridled, sneering rage and phony compassion for the last four days. Their convention Bit The Big One, they took their best shot at Obama, and he responded today with his classic cool and rebuffed just about all of Palin's hysterical smears.

We're good. Yeah, we're good.

A CBS poll yesterday (in the wake of Palin's speech) showed what had been an 8 point lead for Obama last weekend completely gone.

Intrade has Obama in the lead 57.7 to McCains 44.8. Seeing how this measure has been correct in the last two elections I'd trust it over some Faux Noise poll.

I agree about the media, Oberman's the biggest, bumbling, bafoon EVER. He WISHES his head was up the Obamas asses.
Whoa on the "no experience" line. It's amazing how people can see only what they want. What experience does Obama have that makes you want him to be President, (forget talking about VP for a moment.) Hmmm, let's name it: Community organizer(no executive responsibilities), member of New Party(no executive responsibilities and questionable agenda), assco. with ACORN, assoc. with KNOWN terrorist (Ayers), years of assoc. with racist pastor (Wright), suspicious assoc. with slum landlord, weak record in Senate voting, (only votes of "present") You have got to be LIVING on kool-aid if you beleive these FACTS are what you would admire and desire in a President who is going to make JUDGEMENTS concerning our country. We don't KNOW anything else about this man. No doubt our country needs change, but be cautious about what kind of changes you're voting for. The Dems got all caught up in Obamas looks and speaking talent instead of pushing for the experience of Hillary. Ah, there you go again voting with your emotions instead of your head. They're banking on it. Don't let'em down.
