SoFla Voting Day Report

Just got back from voting--stood in line for about 75 min. with my wife and the others trying to vote before work. When we left the line had eased up somewhat, but it was probably still a 45 min. wait.

Also I awoke to find my Obama lawn sign as well as my No on 2 sign (one of those idiotic "protect marriage" amendments) had been stolen after being left alone for the last 2 weeks. Unfortunately, a good number of McCain signs have sprung up in my neighborhood, here in supposedly dependable blue Broward. But that just might be my immediate area. Only 2 other Obama signs are to be seen, and nobody swiped those. No matter--I had a spare Obama sign for just such an occasion, and that's now back out there.

All of which just goes to say the obvious: take nothing for granted and get your heinies out there and vote! Repeatedly, if you can!
