Man, the things you get in the mail nowadays...

Wingnuts On ParadeFor some reason, I received not one but two registered letters from Sen. Orrin Hatch today, each containing what's called a 'Republican Strategy Ballot.'

I have no reason why they'd be sending these to me, but I'm interested in what they contain. I'll post more tonight with the grisly details.

Update: Questions as they appear on the 'ballot' after the jump.

Ballot Question #1: Which issue(s) do you believe Republicans should highlight in this years policy debates?
Permanent Tax Relief
Judicial Nominees
Medicare Reform
Homeland Security
Military/Defense Spending
Saving social Security
Marriage/Values
Border Security
Energy Policy
Other

Ballot Question #2: Which of the Democrats' liberal policies do you oppose most? (You may check more than one.)
Raising Taxes By Trillions Of Dollars
Cutting the U.S. Defense Budget
Undermining Traditional Marriage
No Reform To Save Social Security
Blocking U.S. Energy Independence
U.N. Control Of the War On Terrorism

Ballot Question #3: Tax cuts passed in 2001 and 2003 have helped cut the federal deficit in half, and have helped create more than 7 million jobs. Republicans in the U.S. Senate want to make these tax cuts permanent. Senate Democrats oppose permanent tax relief and think taxes should go up so that Barack Obama can 'spread the wealth around.' Whom do you support?
Senate Republicans
Senate Democrats
Not sure/Undecided

Ballot Question #4: Senate Republicans support responsible judges who will follow the U.S. Constitution, and NOT legislate from the bench. Senate Democrats want to confirm 'activist judges' who will use America's judicial system to promote liberal policies and strike down anti-terrorism efforts and law enforcement measures they view as 'too conservative.' Whom do you support?
Senate Republicans
Senate Democrats
Not sure/Undecided

Ballot Question #5: What do you believe are the most effective ways for Republicans to counter the Democrats' attacks against our policies, and reach voters with the facts about our Republican agenda? You may check more than one.)

Ballot Question #6: The NRSC is our first line of defense against Barack Obama and the Democrats' liberal majority in the U.S. Senate. That means the NRSC must lead the fight in the news media and at the grqssroots level to expose the Democrats' true left-wing agenda and speak out for the conservative policies you support. Will you help the NRSC fight for our Republican agenda and the Candidates who support it?

YES! I'm enclosing:
$15
$25
$50
$100
$250
$500
$1,000

What a load of crap. There is so much disinformation in the questions themselves, Hatch and the NRSC must really be depending on those low-info voters.
