'Stranger' is the nom du blog of New York Musician/Activist Don Waller, who established Blah3 back in 1998. Don is a long-time fixture of the New York rock scene, having been a member of numerous bands and being signed to Warner Brothers records with the band Snakeyed Su in the early 90s.
Don was co-founder of Take Back The Media with Mike 'Symbolman' Stinson, and together they set the standard for political flash animation on the web. The first 'Take Back The Media' animation won an award in the 'Most Exciting Web Media' contest, run by the organization Working For Change.
In addition to his web activism, Don was also the news voice for the late, lamented IE America Radio Network, and was responsible for the Minuteman News Service newscasts for the Thom Hartmann Radio Program. He also produced and co-hosted over 40 episodes of the 'TBTM Radio' podcast for Take Back The Media.
Don live in New York with his wife K, 2 cats, 1 dog and somewhere around 17 guitars. |
