Sheah. Ask him why he isn't letting real people into his town meetings.

The town-hall appearances are not exactly free-ranging sessions with a cross-section of voters. Instead, they will permit people who have benefited from the president's tax-cut policies to ask him questions.

Gotta love this rejoinder from the Kerry folks, too.

"We have a few questions we'd like to submit on behalf of some people around the country," Kerry campaign spokesman Phil Singer said. "Where's my job? Why haven't you created a single new one? How long will my husband be in Iraq?"

Singer mocked the bus tour's "Yes, We Can" slogan: "Well, Little Engine — I mean Mr. President — why haven't you?"
