That smacking sound you hear...
...is Kerry slapping chickenhawks around.
Kerry told ABC: “The Republicans have spent $60 million in the last few weeks trying to attack me. And this comes from a president and a Republican Party that can’t even answer whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. I’m not going to stand for it.”

Go for it, Kerry! Why should we and Kerry have to listen to a bunch of draft dodgers (Cheney had "better things to do")smear Kerry about his medals. Better those who attack him explain why they were hiding in the Guard or college.

the point isnt that bush is a draft dodger. many thousands of honerable people dodged the draft. after all, no one in his right mind would want to die to protect capitalism. the point however, is that instead of going to canada, or to prison, he fell back on his daddy's privilidge, cheated the system, and skipped ahead of a lot of people to get into the national guard, which he later deserted. the real point is that whether you went to war, or dodged the draft, you suffered because of it, and that is what bush dodged, consequences, not the draft.
