Follow the money.
Could Bush have used 9/11 money to plan the Iraq invasion?
Two congressional Democrats on Monday demanded a full accounting of how the Bush administration used emergency money intended to respond to the Sept. 11 attacks, after a book alleged some funds were diverted to prepare for the Iraq war.Sen. Robert Byrd and Rep. David Obey, senior Democrats on the Senate and House of Representatives Appropriations Committees, said in a letter to President Bush they had "numerous concerns about the administration's stewardship" of the $40 billion emergency package Congress approved right after the Sept. 11 attacks.
Their letter came after journalist and author Bob Woodward charged in his book "Plan of Attack" that Bush began preparing for war with Iraq within weeks of the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001, and funded the war preparations with $700 million from the emergency appropriation without consulting Congress.
The administration last week denied any wrongdoing and said no money was used for war preparations until after Congress passed a resolution on Oct. 11, 2002, authorizing the use of force in Iraq.

You know, any one of several scandals that have cropped up during the Bush years, would have been enough to have a Democrat thrown from office! Looking back now on the minor indiscretions that Clinton was involved in - a lousy $60,000, money-losing investment in Arkansas dirt that went south, for Chrissakes. And they turned that nit into a eight-year witchhunt that ended up with a semen-stained cocktail dress. My God, is that inconsequential, compared to multi-billion no-bid contracts handed out to the vice (no idle prefix there)-president's former company, that is still paying him!!! Or being buddy-buddy with the CEO of the biggest bankruptcy of its time in American history - Enron. Either one of those scandals occuring on a Dem's watch would have resulted in multi-year, multi-independent counsels and many hundreds of millions in investigative fees!!!
Now, allegations that Bush and his cronies misappropriated $700 million from monies approved by Congress to go to Afghanistan, in order to clandestinely fund their dirty, little war in Iraq that they lied their asses off to get us into!!!
Once again - just imagine what would happen if this had been a Democrat!?!
And our little puppy dog press just rolls over and puts it's cute little paws in the air and looks the other way, when it is a Bush.

And they almost impeached Clinton over a blowjob? What a friggin' joke.
This Administration is the most corrupt in American history - hands down.

i think that we can all agree that bush is the worst executive officer ever to serve in our country's history. i would call him the worst "elected" official in US history, but that would be a false statement, because we all know he was appointed by the judicial system that he keeps insulting for meddling in politics. (renegade judges... i guess he's never heard of judicial reviev, maybe he should add Marbury vs. Madison to his summer reading list)
george w bush makes richard nixon ( the former record holder for worst president ever) look like Franklin Delano Roosevelt in comparison.

I may have been an illiterate xenophobe, who founded the "know nothing party", but I also installed the first bath tub in the white house, so at least I was clean. I think that I was at least as good at being president as George W Bush. After all, I learned to read eventually.

"count the votes"? actually i think thats what we were calling for in the first place... the real point isnt the votes they didnt count, it's all the black people they "mistakenly" disenfranchised, for felonies they were never charged with, i dont remember the exact number, but i know it was in the tens of thousands. that sort of cheating makes a big difference, considering the slim margin that bush "won" the election by... not that they ever really counted the votes that were cast...
